CESIS OPC Pvt. Ltd. is an entity promoted in 2018 under Companies Act-2013 by passionate entrepreneur-trainer-motivator Diwakar Keskar who holds an experience of more than 3 decades in entrepreneurship, vocational, skill development and implementation of innovative projects sponsored by different central and state departments and corporations and autonomous agencies . The Founder-Director is well versed with the documentation, drafting and pre-sanction procedures adopted by different sponsors at state and national level. The promoter has planned, implemented and evaluated multiple projects across domain areas funded by different national/state agencies and United Nations and European Union entities. The Founder-Director to his credit built the capacities of more than 2 lakhs potential entrepreneurs from unemployed youth, SHG members, rural artisans, women and science and technology background aspiring youth to start entrepreneurial career.

Flagship programs announced by Central Govt. like Make in India, Start Up India, Stand Up India and focus on promoting innovation to address all sorts of national challenges from malnutrition, clean drinking water, energy, education, health etc. has changed the environment in the country for youth who earlier seemed only employment seekers but now want to contribute in job generation by accepting entrepreneurship as best possible career option. Most public authorities have targets for job creation either by directly sponsoring training programs in livelihood, self-employment or entrepreneurship or facilitating the off-loading of some projects in core area.

Mission Skill Development initiative and formation of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship by Central Government in the year 2014 has opened up lot of avenues and opportunities to agencies working in this field. The entities willing to enter this vast field need understanding of technicalities involved like getting empaneled, writing and presenting the proposal as well as constant liasioning and coordination with funding agencies.

Innovation

The Founder-Director has been associated with Dept. of Science and Technology funded various interventions like Technology based Entrepreneurship Development Programs and awareness of entrepreneurship among final year students from all professional courses aiming to develop more job creators than seekers. Several departments are also associated nowadays for addressing national level challenges in clan drinking water, energy, education, health etc. And funding innovative projects. Although there multiple schemes funded by various departments under specific provision of District Innovation Council (DInC) real challenge lies in identification and validation of innovation.

Incubation

Entrepreneurs don’t always execute unique projects. They are also involved in executing traditional projects differently. Start up India targeting the budding entrepreneurs with zeal to address national challenges have infrastructural support and availability of technical infrastructure across India. Many projects funded by Dept. of Science and Technology titled as Promotion of Technology Business Incubator (TBI) are getting established in national level technology institutes and engineering colleges. Trained potential entrepreneur needs support and handholding for non-technical incubation services like registration of IP, writing and presenting the business plan.
