About Entity and Services:
CESIS OPC Pvt. Ltd. is a one person promoted venture to deliver all kinds of services to all stakeholders in the field of skill, entrepreneurship, innovation and incubation for stakeholders ranging from Government, corporates, NGOs, educational institutes as well as self-help groups and their federations, also the individuals seeking to pursue income generation through livelihood, self-employment and entrepreneurship. The entity is launched to deliver services of wide range and act as Common Platform and Resource Centre for exchange of information to facilitate resource mobilization and delivery of services on professional basis.
While Govt. and Corporate sector have financial resources and manpower the stakeholders like implementing entities, need expert professionals for writing proposals , envisaging the execution and handholding support in designing delivery mechanism which will ensure achievement of outcomes as all financial disbursement is finally linked with outcomes ranging from mobilization, conduct of quality training and placement.
Skill Development:
Although Skill Development is a decade old phenomenon, impart of vocational skills targeted at income enhancement has been pursued by different entities in Govt. and social sector since last more than 3 decades. Mission Skill Development initiative and formation of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship by Central Government in the year 2014 has opened up lot of avenues and opportunities to agencies working in this field. The entities willing to enter this vast field need understanding of technicalities involved like getting empaneled, writing and presenting the proposal as well as constant liasioning and coordination with funding agencies.
Entrepreneurship Promotion:
The flagship programs announced by Central Govt. like Make in India, Start Up India, Stand Up India and focus on promoting innovation to address all sorts of national challenges ranging from malnutrition, clean drinking water, energy, education, health etc. has changed the environment in the country for youth who earlier seemed only employment seekers but now want to contribute in job generation by accepting entrepreneurship as best possible career option. Most public authorities have also target for job creation either by directly sponsoring training programs in livelihood, self-employment or entrepreneurship or facilitating the off-loading of some projects in core area. The centre shall focus on entrepreneurship in education for student’s right from KG to final year PG, researchers and even doctorates in different disciplines.
Innovation:
The Founder-Director has been associated with Dept. of Science and Technology funded various interventions like Technology based Entrepreneurship Development Programs and awareness of entrepreneurship among final year students from all professional courses aiming to develop more job creators than seekers. Several departments are also associated nowadays for addressing national level challenges in clan drinking water, energy, education, health etc. And funding innovative projects. Although there multiple schemes funded by various departments under specific provision of District Innovation Council (DInC) real challenge lies in identification and validation of innovation.
Incubation Services:
Entrepreneurs don’t always execute unique projects but they are also involved in executing traditional projects differently. Start up India targeting the budding entrepreneurs with zeal to address national challenges do have now infrastructural support and availability of technical infrastructure across India. As many projects funded by Dept. of Science and Technology titled as Promotion of Technology Business Incubator (TBI) are getting established in national level technology institutes and even engineering colleges. The trained potential entrepreneur needs support and handholding for non-technical incubation services like registration of Intellectual property, writing and presenting the business plan ,formation of company etc. need constant support and expertise at the disposal of start up as well as potential entrepreneurs who wish to get into entrepreneurship as best possible career option in today’s job shrinking market. The centre shall have defined non-technical incubation services spanning through the phase of conception of idea to establishment of unit and putting it on growth trajectory. The institute proposes to cover all target groups like potential and existing entrepreneurs, unemployed youths, housewives and SHGs, rural artisans and empaneled network of professional experts to render services related to the same. The centre shall also have database of all functional incubators with availability of infrastructure and technical facilities for prototype development and shall network with these incubators to act as common platform for services seekers and providers on professional basis.
